Powerlifting
Is a strength sport comprised of three main lifts: Squat, Bench Press & Dead Lift; with the goal of attaining as much raw strength as possible. Powerlifting class is appropriate for both beginners and competitive experienced powerlifters. We prioritize teaching proper form and technique and smart programming so that you can reach your strength goals quickly and safely.
How we're different
Powerlifting class is taught by experienced coaches only. Our coaches are certified through the Crossfit's Conjugate certification and have years of experience both competing and coaching.
Both competitive and recreational lifters follow the same smart, structured training program.
We spend a lot of time and energy teaching proper technique; we know if you’re injured, you can’t train. And if you can’t train, you won’t make progress! It’s that simple. We do everything we can to keep you healthy – which means we give you A LOT of technical feedback and support during every class.
Is powerlifting class right for you?
- Do you have a little bit of experience with barbell movements: squats, bench press, deadlifts? (If not, you’ll need to work with a coach individually for a few sessions prior to joining the class).
- Do you want to learn proper form and technique?
